Vacancy: Blockwork & Plastering Foreman
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise blockwork (concrete block / AAC block) and internal/external plastering crews
Set out blockwork lines, levels and openings (doors, windows, MEP sleeves) according to drawings
Control blockwork quality: verticality, flatness, joint thickness, mortar mix and curing
Control plastering quality: thickness, flatness, corner beads, junctions with columns/beams, and surface finish readiness for painting/tiling
Coordinate with MEP teams for conduits, sleeves and chases before and during blockwork
Prepare material requisitions (blocks, cement, sand, mortar additives) and control wastage
Manage daily labor deployment, progress tracking and reporting to the site engineer
Ensure workers follow site safety rules and use proper PPE
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a blockwork & plastering foreman in the building construction industry — must be skilled in BOTH blockwork and plastering
Candidates currently in Dubai / UAE preferred; previous work experience in Dubai or within the UAE is a strong advantage
Able to read and understand architectural/structural drawings and setting-out marks
Good knowledge of mortar mixes, AAC block installation and plastering methods
Basic English communication (written and spoken)
