A gardener maintains, cultivates, and preserves outdoor green spaces, residential yards, and public landscapes to keep them healthy and visually appealing

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Planting and Cultivation: Sowing seeds, planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and ground cover, and transplanting greenery according to landscape plans. [1, 2, 3]
• Lawn and Turf Care: Mowing lawns, edging borders, aerating soil, laying turf, and watering or managing irrigation systems. [1, 2, 3]
• Pruning and Trimming: Cutting, shaping, and pruning trees, hedges, and bushes to promote healthy growth and neat appearances. [1]
• Weeding and Soil Management: Pulling weeds, applying mulch, testing soil nutrients, and mixing in compost or fertilizers. [1, 2, 3]
• Pest and Disease Control: Monitoring plant health, diagnosing infestations or blights, and safely applying organic or chemical treatments. [1, 2, 3]
• Equipment Maintenance: Operating, cleaning, and performing basic upkeep on mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, and hand tools. [1, 2]
• Site Cleanliness: Clearing pathways, flower beds, and grounds of fallen leaves, branches, litter, and debris. [1, 2]
• Client and Staff Guidance: Recommending plant selections, offering layout advice, or assisting with training for junior staff and apprentices. [1, 2]

Pay: Up to AED1,500.00 per month
