Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electronics Repair Technician specializing in component-level repair of electronic circuit boards, industrial automation equipment, KNX systems, PLC controllers, and electronic control modules.

The ideal candidate must have strong practical experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electronic devices and circuit boards at the component level.

This position focuses on repairing industrial electronics, building automation devices, and electronic control equipment.

This is NOT a mobile phone repair position.

We require a technician capable of identifying defective electronic components and repairing circuit boards rather than simply replacing complete electronic modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electronic equipment.
• Repair printed circuit boards (PCB) at the component level.
• Diagnose and repair KNX building automation devices and modules.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC controllers and industrial automation boards.
• Repair electronic control modules, power supply circuits, and communication interfaces.
• Diagnose faults in KNX actuators, sensors, controllers, and automation interfaces.
• Repair industrial control boards, electronic relays, and switching modules.
• Identify and replace defective ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, transistors, diodes, and other electronic components.
• Perform professional SMD soldering, desoldering, and micro-soldering.
• Diagnose short circuits, damaged PCB tracks, power failures, and communication faults.
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, and professional diagnostic equipment.
• Read electronic schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Test repaired devices to ensure functionality, reliability, and electrical safety.
• Document technical faults, repair procedures, and replaced components.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in industrial electronics repair or component-level PCB troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of electronic circuits and components.
• Proven experience in PCB troubleshooting and component replacement.
• Excellent SMD soldering and desoldering skills.
• Experience repairing electronic control boards and industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose complex electronic faults independently.
• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering stations, and laboratory power supplies.
• Understanding of digital and analog electronics.
• Ability to read electronic circuit diagrams and schematics.
• Good English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Technical Experience

Candidates with experience in the following areas will receive priority:

KNX Building Automation Systems

• KNX actuators and switching modules.
• KNX power supplies.
• KNX sensors and controllers.
• KNX communication interfaces.
• KNX electronic board troubleshooting.

PLC & Industrial Automation

• PLC controllers and I/O modules.
• Industrial automation control boards.
• Industrial communication interfaces.
• Electronic relay and switching circuits.
• Industrial power supplies.
• Fault diagnosis of automation equipment.

Electronic Component-Level Repair

• Advanced PCB troubleshooting.
• SMD and IC replacement.
• Micro-soldering.
• SMPS and power supply repair.
• Electronic circuit fault analysis.
• PCB track and connector repair.

Experience with industrial automation equipment from manufacturers such as Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, and other automation brands is an advantage.

Practical Technical Assessment

Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical assessment involving:

• Diagnosing a faulty industrial electronic circuit board.
• Identifying defective electronic components.
• Performing SMD soldering and component replacement.
• Troubleshooting a KNX or PLC electronic module.
• Testing and verifying the repaired equipment.

Important Requirements

We are NOT looking for mobile phone repair technicians.

Applicants whose experience is limited to smartphones, tablets, screen replacement, battery replacement, or general mobile phone servicing are not suitable for this position.

We are specifically seeking technicians with genuine experience in industrial electronics, electronic control boards, PCB component-level repair, and automation equipment.
