Pool Academy Aquatics is the exclusive aquatics partner at a new international school campus in Abu Dhabi, building a team of aquatic professionals immediately. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused lifeguards to supervise our pool during lessons and sessions. You will keep swimmers safe, respond to emergencies, and support our instructors in delivering a high-quality aquatics programme.
Responsibilities
- Actively supervise swimmers and the pool environment at all times.
- Prevent incidents through vigilance, clear communication and enforcing pool rules.
- Respond to emergencies using rescue, CPR, first aid and AED, and complete incident reports.
- Carry out safety checks of the pool, equipment and rescue gear before and after each session.
- Support swim instructors with poolside safety, set-up and pack-down.
- Follow Pool Academy safeguarding, physical guidance and child-protection standards.
- Present a professional, friendly image to learners, parents and school staff.
Required qualifications (current and valid)
- Level 2 International Award in Swimming Pool Safety (EIAC/ ADQCC)
- Level 3 International Award in Emergency First Aid, AED for all ages (EIAC/ ADQCC)
- Safeguarding and Physical Guidance in the Aquatic Environment CPD
Other requirements
- A valid police clearance certificate (Good Conduct Certificate).
- A valid self-sponsored or family-sponsored or employer-sponsored UAE residence visa. Visit visas do not qualify.
- Strong swimming ability, physical fitness and good spoken English.
- Pool lifeguarding experience, especially with children, is an advantage.
Working hours
- Tuesday to Sunday, totalling 48 hours per week.
- Monday is your weekly rest day.
- Breaks are scheduled during shifts in line with UAE labour law.
- Shift times will be confirmed at interview.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,300.00 per month

- Lifeguarding: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- International Level 2 Pool Lifeguard certificate (Required)
- International Level 3 First Aid, CPR and AED certificate (Required)
- Child Safeguarding CPD (Required)
