FM Engineer

We are looking for an experienced FM Engineer with strong experience in building maintenance, facility management, real estate, and community management. The ideal candidate should be capable of overseeing day-to-day property maintenance, coordinating with contractors and service providers, and ensuring excellent service to tenants and community residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily building and community maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Monitor MEP systems including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related building systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, common areas, and community facilities.
• Coordinate with technicians, contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Handle and follow up on tenant and community maintenance complaints.
• Ensure maintenance requests are attended to and closed within the required time.
• Monitor contractors and ensure quality and timely completion of works.
• Coordinate emergency maintenance and urgent repair requirements.
• Prepare maintenance, inspection, and operational reports.
• Assist in planning and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor the condition of common areas, facilities, equipment, and building assets.
• Ensure proper documentation and records of maintenance activities.
• Support community management activities related to maintenance and property operations.
• Coordinate with management, tenants, owners, and community stakeholders when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in building maintenance, facility management, real estate, or property management.
• Previous experience in community management is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building MEP systems and maintenance practices.
• Experience supervising technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle tenant complaints and community maintenance concerns professionally.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• UAE Driving License and own vehicle is an advantage.
