Site Engineer

Role Description The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure that work on site aligns with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Umm Al Quwain and involves coordinating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain progress and resolve technical issues. Responsibilities include supervising site work, monitoring quality and safety, checking materials and workmanship, preparing site reports, and supporting inspections and approvals. The Site Engineer will also assist in planning work sequences, tracking timelines, and communicating clearly with the project team to keep stakeholders informed of site status and risks.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision skills and experience working on active construction sites.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication skills for coordinating with engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Candidates should possess quality control capabilities, including monitoring workmanship, materials, and compliance with standards.
• Candidates should possess structural engineering or civil engineering knowledge relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and standard construction practices in the UAE.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
