Electrical Draftsman – Building Construction

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Draftsman with building construction experience to prepare and update electrical drawings, support site coordination, and ensure drawings comply with approved designs and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical shop drawings, layout drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop lighting, power, cable containment, distribution, and related electrical layouts.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to coordinate electrical installations.
• Revise drawings based on engineering instructions and consultant comments.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and site teams to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Maintain drawing revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are available.
• Assist with electrical material documentation and drawing submissions when required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical qualification.
• Approximately 4 years of electrical drafting experience, preferably in UAE building construction.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of electrical layouts, lighting, power distribution, and cable containment.
• Ability to interpret electrical specifications and coordinate drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical shop drawings and as-built documentation.
• Revit experience is an advantage.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
