Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator – Fit-Out to prepare accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out and joinery projects. The ideal candidate will analyze drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure competitive and precise project costing within deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, and BOQs for fit-out projects
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for:
• Interior fit-out works (commercial, retail, residential)
• Joinery and furniture works
• Partitions, ceilings, flooring, and finishes
• Perform quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
• Coordinate with design, project, and procurement teams
• Maintain updated cost databases and pricing records

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in fit-out estimation (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of:
• Interior fit-out materials and finishes
• Joinery and furniture costing
• BOQ preparation and tendering processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UAE fit-out contractors
• Knowledge of local suppliers and market rates
• Familiarity with contract terms and tendering procedures
