Job Description
Spacium Furnitures is looking for a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our team on a full-time or part-time remote basis.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, furniture layouts, and 2D/3D design presentations. The candidate should be able to transform client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical interior design solutions.
We welcome candidates who prefer either a fixed monthly salary or a commission-based compensation structure, depending on their experience, skills, availability, and ability to contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space planning layouts, furniture layouts, and interior design presentations.
- Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations using relevant design software.
- Recommend suitable furniture, materials, finishes, colors, and accessories according to project requirements and budgets.
- Prepare design proposals, furniture specifications, BOQs, and quotations when required.
- Understand client requirements and present suitable design solutions remotely.
- Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review drawings, dimensions, and furniture specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Support business development by identifying opportunities, presenting design solutions, and helping convert inquiries into confirmed projects.
- Manage assigned projects and meet agreed deadlines while working independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
- Previous experience in interior design, preferably in furniture, office interiors, commercial interiors, or fit-out projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of 3ds Max, Revit, V-Ray, Lumion, or other 3D rendering software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, finishes, and design principles.
- Ability to prepare professional design presentations and technical drawings.
- Good communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
- Creative thinking, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with a team remotely.
- UAE experience and knowledge of the local furniture and interior design market are preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects is required.
Salary and Compensation
Spacium Furnitures offers flexible compensation arrangements based on the candidate's experience, capabilities, availability, and preferred working structure.
- Fixed Salary: A monthly salary based on qualifications and experience.
- Commission-Based: Earnings linked to successful sales, confirmed projects, or business generated, subject to mutually agreed terms.
The final compensation structure will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview.
