Job Overview
An electromechanical contracting company is seeking an experienced HVAC Project Engineer to manage HVAC works across building projects, from technical planning and equipment selection to site execution, testing, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage HVAC installation and project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Review HVAC designs, load calculations, equipment sizing, and technical submittals.
- Work with chilled water systems, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and HVAC controls.
- Supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors for technical approvals and site progress.
- Prepare BOQs, material submittals, progress reports, and cost estimates.
- Identify site issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure timely testing and commissioning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Project Engineer within MEP or electromechanical contracting.
- Strong hands-on experience in HVAC site execution, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Good knowledge of chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, VRF/VRV systems, and HVAC controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, HVAC drawings, and technical submittals.
- Ability to manage site activities, coordinate with project stakeholders, and meet project deadlines.
Pay: Up to AED11,000.00 per month
