Carpenter Helper

VAAO Advertising FZ-LLC is looking for a hardworking and reliable Carpenter Helper to assist carpenters and the production team in manufacturing, assembling, and installing exhibition stands, retail displays, kiosks, signage structures, promotional units, and other customized advertising projects. The candidate will support daily workshop activities and on-site installations while ensuring quality workmanship, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist carpenters in cutting, measuring, assembling, and installing wooden materials and structures.
• Support the fabrication of exhibition stands, display units, kiosks, counters, shelves, and customized advertising structures.
• Help prepare materials such as plywood, MDF, timber, laminates, and other woodworking materials.
• Assist in measuring and marking materials according to the carpenter's instructions and project requirements.
• Handle, load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and finished products safely.
• Assist with drilling, sanding, fixing, screwing, nailing, and basic assembly work under supervision.
• Prepare tools, materials, and workstations before starting production activities.
• Support the installation and dismantling of exhibition stands, retail displays, and promotional structures at project sites.
• Assist in fixing laminates, panels, hinges, handles, and other carpentry accessories.
• Coordinate with carpenters, fabricators, electricians, painters, and installation technicians to complete projects on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop, storage areas, and installation sites.
• Follow instructions from the carpenter, production supervisor, and installation team.
• Handle tools and equipment carefully and follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Report damaged materials, faulty tools, or any safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned tasks within the required timelines while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter Helper or in a similar workshop role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and woodworking processes is an advantage.
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely under supervision.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving materials when required.
• Willingness to work in a production workshop and travel to project sites for installation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Hardworking, punctual, responsible, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
