Electrician

VAAO Advertising FZ-LLC is looking for a skilled and reliable Electrician to support electrical installation, wiring, maintenance, and troubleshooting for signage, exhibition stands, retail displays, kiosks, event setups, and customized fabrication projects. The candidate will work closely with the production and installation teams to ensure all electrical components are installed safely, function properly, and meet project specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire, and connect LED lights, LED strips, power supplies, transformers, switches, sockets, and other electrical components used in signage, displays, kiosks, and exhibition stands.
• Carry out electrical wiring and lighting installations for advertising structures, retail displays, promotional stands, and event setups.
• Read and interpret basic electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation layouts.
• Install and connect illuminated signboards, lightboxes, backlit displays, and other electrical branding elements.
• Perform electrical testing, fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure proper functioning of installed components.
• Assist the production team with electrical requirements during the fabrication and assembly of display units and exhibition structures.
• Conduct on-site electrical installation, testing, and commissioning at client locations, exhibitions, retail outlets, and event venues.
• Ensure all cables are properly routed, secured, insulated, and concealed wherever required for a neat and professional finish.
• Inspect electrical materials, tools, and equipment before use and report any defects or shortages.
• Coordinate with carpenters, fabricators, painters, and installation technicians to complete projects according to approved designs and specifications.
• Follow electrical safety procedures, company policies, and applicable UAE safety requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Complete assigned tasks within project deadlines and report any technical issues or delays to the supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• ITI, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Work or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Electrician in advertising, signage, exhibitions, retail fit-outs, fabrication, or interior installation is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of LED lighting, lightboxes, power supplies, electrical wiring, and lighting connections.
• Ability to identify electrical faults and carry out basic troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safe working practices.
• Willingness to work in the workshop and travel to project sites for installation work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with illuminated signage and 3D letter lighting.
• Knowledge of LED modules, LED strips, drivers, and transformers.
• Experience in exhibition stand electrical fit-outs and retail display lighting.
• Ability to work at heights when required, with appropriate training and safety equipment.
• Flexibility to work overtime or outside regular hours when required for exhibition and event installations.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,800.00 per month
