Production Manager – Signage & OOH Advertising

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead factory operations, optimize manufacturing efficiency, and ensure high-quality, on-time production across multiple signage projects.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Retail Signage, Digital Signage, Outdoor Advertising (OOH), Wayfinding, Architectural Signage, and Custom Fabrication, with a proven ability to manage end-to-end production operations, optimize resources, and maintain stringent quality standards.
This role requires a technically proficient manufacturing leader with strong expertise in production planning, fabrication processes, workforce management, cost control, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maximizing productivity, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production & Factory Operations
- Oversee daily factory operations covering indoor, outdoor, illuminated, LED, digital, architectural, and custom signage.
- Develop and monitor production schedules, manpower allocation, machinery utilization, and material requirements.
- Supervise fabrication, CNC routing, laser cutting, welding, digital printing, painting, assembly, finishing, inspection, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and project delivery timelines are consistently achieved.
Production Planning & Resource Management
- Optimize production workflows, workforce deployment, material consumption, and equipment utilization.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Design, Procurement, Project Management, QA/QC, and Installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve throughput and efficiency.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and production disruptions.
Quality, Cost & Process Control
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, fabrication drawings, BOQs, and safety procedures.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, labor productivity, material wastage, and production performance.
- Maintain accurate production records, operational reports, and ERP/MRP data.
- Implement continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing practices to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors, machine operators, fabricators, welders, and technicians.
- Establish production KPIs, performance targets, and accountability standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address operational or workforce-related challenges.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, quality, discipline, and operational excellence.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of production management experience, including substantial experience in signage manufacturing and fabrication operations.
- Proven track record of managing factory operations, production schedules, workforce productivity, and manufacturing costs.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of CNC routing, laser cutting, metal fabrication, welding, digital printing, painting, finishing, and assembly.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary production teams and delivering multiple signage projects within quality, cost, and deadline requirements.
Technical Proficiency:
- Strong expertise in signage manufacturing processes, production planning, fabrication drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and signage materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
- Good understanding of machinery utilization, preventive maintenance, quality control, inventory management, and production cost optimization.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
