Freelance Senior SEO & GEO Strategist (English/Arabic) | Monthly Retainer | Remote

Crowd is a creative and digital agency based in Dubai. We're looking for a senior, business-minded SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategist to lead the strategy behind our client accounts. This is a strategic, advisory freelance role: our in-house SEO executive handles technical execution and deployment.

Engagement

Freelance, on a straight monthly retainer: a fixed monthly fee for an agreed, fixed number of hours each month.
Hours are flexible within the retainer and can be allocated across client projects and priorities as needs change from month to month.
One month's notice on either side.
Fully remote, working on UAE/GCC time (GST).

What you'll do

Strategy

Map client business goals, target audiences and regional commercial priorities.
Build and maintain 6–12 month SEO and GEO roadmaps with clear deliverables and KPIs.
Develop English and Arabic keyword maps and conversational prompt sets (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) tailored to GCC dialects and buyer intent.
Recommend landing page, entity and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) content structures.
Turn the strategy into a clear, prioritized task list for our in-house SEO executive.

Advisory and oversight

Review execution progress with our SEO executive regularly.
Monitor AI share of voice, citations, entity attribution, competitor visibility and priority prompt performance, and refine the GEO roadmap.
Validate monthly Looker Studio, GA4, GSC and GEO visibility reports before client submission, and turn findings into next-month priorities.
Co-lead monthly strategy and reporting calls with client stakeholders.

What you'll bring

5+ years in SEO strategy, with proven experience in GEO and AI search.
Native or professional fluency in English and Arabic, including reviewing Arabic copy and prompts and presenting in both languages.
Strong commercial acumen: you turn client business goals into actionable SEO/GEO plans, not just audit lists.
Hands-on with Semrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, Screaming Frog and LLM visibility tracking tools.
Confident, executive-level client communication.

Fees

A fixed monthly retainer covering an agreed number of hours. Indeed may show an approximate pay figure; the final retainer and hours will be agreed with the selected consultant.
