CONCRETE MASON

The Concrete Mason is responsible for carrying out concrete-related construction activities, including preparing, pouring, spreading, leveling, and finishing concrete for foundations, floors, slabs, walls, and other structural elements. The employee must ensure quality workmanship in accordance with project specifications, construction standards, and applicable health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare construction areas and surfaces before concrete placement.
• Mix, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete as required for construction works.
• Assist with concrete works for foundations, slabs, columns, beams, floors, and other structural elements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and concrete finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and apply concrete mixtures according to project requirements and supervisor instructions.
• Perform concrete surface finishing, smoothing, leveling, and curing activities.
• Assist with formwork and reinforcement activities related to concrete placement, as assigned.
• Check concrete surfaces for uneven areas, defects, and finishing requirements.
• Carry out minor concrete repairs and patching when required.
• Follow construction drawings, technical instructions, and site supervisor directions.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keep the work area clean and organized and minimize material wastage.
• Coordinate with other construction workers to complete assigned tasks within project deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in concrete masonry or concrete construction work is preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, leveling, finishing, and curing techniques.
• Familiarity with basic construction tools and concrete finishing equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of construction site safety procedures.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Working Hours

• Working Schedule: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week.
• Weekly Working Hours: 48 hours, subject to applicable UAE Labour Law.
• Overtime: Paid in accordance with applicable UAE Labour Law.
• Work Location: Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
• Free Accommodation: Company-provided bachelor accommodation.
• Transportation: Transportation provided by the company.
• Utilities: Water, electricity, and gas provided by the company.

Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,300.00 per month
