We are looking for a Sales Associate / Cashier to join our retail team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, handling cashiering transactions, and ensuring a smooth customer experience in the showroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom and understand their requirements.
- Provide product information and recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
- Achieve individual and showroom sales targets.
- Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions accurately.
- Process sales invoices, receipts, refunds, and other cashiering transactions.
- Ensure proper cash handling and daily reconciliation of transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and cashiering activities.
- Assist customers with product availability, pricing, promotions, and delivery-related queries.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and relevant departments regarding stock availability and customer orders.
- Maintain product displays and ensure the showroom is clean and well presented.
- Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and escalate issues when required.
- Support stock checks and other showroom activities when required.
- Follow company policies and procedures related to sales, customer service, and cash handling.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service.
- Experience in furniture, home décor, home furnishing, or retail will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Good numerical and cash-handling abilities.
- Basic computer skills and experience with POS systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Good command of English.
- Candidates who can speak Arabic will have an advantage.
- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays as per the retail schedule.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
