Procurement Officer - Water & Power Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement activities for project materials, equipment and services in accordance with project requirements and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, obtain supplier quotations and conduct technical and commercial comparisons in coordination with the engineering and project teams.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favourable commercial terms and timely deliveries.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate approvals in accordance with company procurement procedures.
• Monitor procurement schedules, material delivery status and supplier performance to ensure timely availability of project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, project teams, suppliers, logistics and finance to resolve procurement-related matters.
• Support vendor identification, evaluation and development while maintaining procurement records and supplier databases.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation, purchase order tracking and ERP system records.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or a related discipline..
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within the EPC or construction industry.
• Experience in procurement of materials, equipment and services for power, water, utilities or infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of procurement procedures, supplier evaluation, commercial negotiations and purchase order management.
• Familiarity with technical specifications, material requisitions and project procurement requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and organisational skills.
• UAE/GCC procurement experience preferred.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
