About the Role:
Naoero Medical Centre is seeking an experienced Vascular Surgeon for a locum assignment in the Republic of Nauru. You will provide specialist consultations, patient assessments, and vascular surgical care, supporting the centre’s clinical team and delivering high-quality specialist services to the community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist vascular surgery consultations and patient assessments
- Diagnose and manage vascular conditions, including arterial, venous, and peripheral vascular disease
- Perform vascular surgical procedures as clinically required
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical records and follow hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Advise on referrals and management plans for complex cases
Requirements:
- Recognized specialist qualification in Vascular Surgery
- Minimum 5 years of relevant specialist experience in vascular surgery
- Valid specialist registration in your country of practice, and eligibility for medical licensing in Nauru
- Proven experience in vascular surgical procedures and the management of vascular conditions
- Available for a locum assignment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a small, multidisciplinary team
