MEP Draftsman – Building Construction

We are seeking an experienced MEP Draftsman with strong building construction experience to prepare, revise, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings in accordance with project requirements and engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Develop and revise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting drawings as required.
- Coordinate MEP layouts with architectural and structural drawings.
- Identify and resolve drawing clashes and coordination issues with relevant engineering teams.
- Incorporate consultant comments and revise drawings to obtain approvals.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, site teams, and other drafting disciplines to support project execution.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8–10 years of MEP drafting experience, including UAE building construction projects.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience preparing MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
- Experience with Revit MEP and BIM coordination is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and drawing coordination skills.
