HSE OFFICER

Role & Responsibilities:

· To manage Site Safety Department.

· To provide weekly and monthly reports.

· To check all sub contractors understand and follow CDC Safety procedures.

· To arrange or take First Aid Classes.

· To Coordinate with plant department in line with safety.

· To maintain a well organized filing system for all safety activities.

· To administrate the project safety and fire prevention programs.

· Maintain surveillance of job site working conditions and safety practices.

· Plan the site safety publicity program and order posters, visual aids signs etc.

· Review the work schedule as they are planned to be aware of the number of contractors and manpower working in the various areas - anticipate hazards and implement supporting safety activities.

· Manage site safety seminars.

· To coordinate with site security.

Candidate Profile:

· To hold safety degree or safety qualifications from accredited association.

· 10 years experience and 5 years as Safety Officer.

· 5years experience the construction industry and has worked on high rise projects.

· To hold qualifications in several activities i.e health and safety - fire and safety - scaffolding, rigging and lifting.

· To hold First Aid qualifications.

· To have the ability to work under difficult conditions and to be self-motivated.

· Ability to work in a multicultural environment.

· Excellent communication and report writing skills.

· To be able to demonstrate safety aids.

· To have experience in holding safety lectures.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
