The Painter is responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces of buildings and other structures, ensuring high-quality finishing in accordance with company standards, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying putty or primer.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and other surfaces.
- Mix and match paints to achieve the required colors and finishes.
- Use brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Inspect completed work to ensure a smooth, uniform, and high-quality finish.
- Repair damaged or peeling paint and perform touch-up work as required.
- Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, and surrounding areas during painting activities.
- Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Follow project instructions, company policies, and occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and minimize material wastage.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to complete tasks within the project schedule.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in painting and finishing works is preferred.
- Knowledge of surface preparation, paint application, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
Working Conditions
The Painter required to work at construction sites, residential buildings, commercial properties, and other project locations, including indoor and outdoor environments.
Reporting To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager
Accommodation and Transportation
The company will provide accommodation and transportation to the employee in accordance with company policies and applicable UAE labor laws.
Pay: AED1,100.00 - AED1,300.00 per month
