IT Officer / IT Engineer with Odoo ERP Experience

Nejoum Al Jazeera is looking for a qualified and experienced IT Officer / IT Engineer with hands-on experience in Odoo ERP to manage IT infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure the smooth operation of business systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, printers, networks, and software applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Administer and support Odoo ERP, including user management, module configuration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
• Support Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, and HR, according to business requirements.
• Monitor and maintain network connectivity, system performance, data backups, and IT security.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, software installations, updates, and IT assets.
• Coordinate with Odoo developers, service providers, and vendors for system enhancements, integrations, and technical issues.
• Assist with ERP implementation, data migration, system testing, reporting, and user training.
• Maintain IT documentation, software licenses, and inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP administration, configuration, or functional support.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, software troubleshooting, networking, and system administration.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and business applications.
• Knowledge of ERP workflows, data backup, access control, and IT security.
• Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide effective technical support to users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Odoo ERP implementation, customization, and integrations.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, Linux, Python, or API integrations.
• Experience in ERP reporting, data migration, and business process improvement.
