Structural BIM Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed structural BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare structural drawings, sections, elevations, and construction details.
• Model structural elements, including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and structural framing.
• Interpret structural design drawings, specifications, and engineering details.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP models to identify and resolve clashes.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Prepare structural shop drawings and documentation as required.
• Update BIM models based on design revisions and coordination comments.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and other discipline teams.
• Ensure model accuracy and compliance with project BIM standards and requirements.
• Support the preparation of as-built models and drawings when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in structural BIM modeling.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of structural systems, construction methods, and detailing.
• Experience with Navisworks and BIM coordination workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and modeling practices.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• UAE project experience is an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working with engineering consultancies or structural design teams.
• Ability to manage structural models and deliver accurate drawings within project deadlines.
• Immediate availability or short notice is preferred.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
