We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally accounting software and practical experience in day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling routine accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring stock consumption, and preparing monthly financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally.
- Maintain and manage petty cash, including cash payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
- Record sales invoices, purchase invoices, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers accurately.
- Monitor stock movements, stock consumption, stock adjustments, and inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements and expense analysis.
- Pass monthly provision entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, and other necessary adjustment entries.
- Maintain customer and supplier ledgers and perform regular account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain Accounts Receivable Ageing Reports and monitor overdue customer balances.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and maintain updated collection records.
- Monitor credit customers, payment terms, and overdue invoices.
- Assist in bank reconciliations and cash balance verification.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and supporting records.
- Assist with VAT-related accounting entries and VAT record maintenance in compliance with UAE VAT requirements.
- Monitor outstanding payables and receivables and provide regular updates to management.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely entry of all transactions.
- Support month-end closing and preparation of management reports.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of Tally accounting software is essential.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
- Practical knowledge of petty cash management, stock consumption, and ledger reconciliation.
- Experience in preparing monthly reports, provision entries, and receivables ageing reports.
- Good knowledge of customer payment follow-up and outstanding balance management.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.

Candidates with experience in trading companies, inventory-based businesses, or auto paint and automotive spare parts trading will be preferred.
Pay: AED200.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
