Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Gypsum Foreman to supervise and coordinate gypsum partition, false ceiling, and other gypsum-related works for interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing site workers, ensuring work quality, and completing activities according to project drawings, specifications, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily gypsum installation works, including partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative features.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, construction drawings, and site specifications.
- Allocate tasks to gypsum workers and ensure efficient workforce utilization.
- Monitor installation quality, dimensions, levels, alignment, and finishing.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth work progress.
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available at the worksite.
- Monitor daily progress and report work status, manpower requirements, and site issues to management.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve installation issues and minimize material wastage.
- Ensure all gypsum works are completed within project schedules and required quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Gypsum Foreman in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of gypsum partitions, false ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative gypsum installations.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and site layouts.
- Experience supervising and coordinating site workers.
- Good knowledge of gypsum materials, installation techniques, and finishing standards.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- UAE interior fit-out experience is preferred.
