We are looking for an energetic and hardworking Food Runner to join our team at Japanese Dining Restaurant. The ideal candidate will support daily restaurant operations by ensuring timely food delivery, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting the service team in providing an excellent dining experience.
The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to assist in other operational areas when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth and efficient food service.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Ensure food presentation and service standards are consistently maintained.
- Replenish service stations, utensils, and other dining supplies as needed.
- Assist with dishwashing, pantry duties, and other back-of-house tasks depending on operational demands and management instructions.
- Maintain proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Support the restaurant team during peak hours to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Food Runner, Busser, or Service Crew in a restaurant is preferred.
- Experience in Japanese dining or casual dining restaurants is an advantage.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Willingness to assist with dishwashing, pantry operations, and other restaurant duties when required.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a willingness to learn.

Pay: AED1,200.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
