Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Façade Designer to join our team in Al Quoz, Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in façade systems, architectural detailing, technical drawings, and design coordination for aluminium, glass, and building envelope projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for façade systems.
- Develop façade designs for aluminium curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding, and glazing systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, structural engineers, consultants, and site teams.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and technical requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues related to façade systems.
- Supervise and review the work of junior designers and draftsmen.
- Support quantity take-offs, material specifications, and fabrication requirements.
- Ensure drawings are accurate and submitted within project deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in façade design, preferably within aluminium and glass façade companies.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, BIM, and other façade design software is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of curtain walls, aluminium windows and doors, cladding, and glazing systems.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong technical coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
- Candidates with UAE/GCC project experience will be preferred.
