Job Description
We are urgently seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Architect / Architectural IFC Manager to lead the preparation and delivery of a complete Architectural Issued for Construction (IFC) drawing package for a luxury villa project in Dubai.
The ideal candidate must have extensive hands-on experience producing detailed architectural construction drawings for high-end residential projects in Dubai and must be capable of independently managing the entire architectural documentation process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the preparation of complete Architectural IFC and detailed construction drawing packages based on approved designs.
- Prepare and review architectural plans, sections, elevations, construction details, and technical specifications.
- Develop detailed façade, staircase, roof, waterproofing, door, window, and finishing details.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Dubai building regulations, authority requirements, and DDA standards where relevant.
- Supervise architectural draftsmen and review all technical drawings.
- Identify and resolve technical discrepancies and coordination issues.
- Ensure all drawings are construction-ready and delivered within project deadlines.
- Take full responsibility for the technical quality and completeness of architectural documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant architectural technical experience.
- Proven experience delivering complete Architectural IFC packages for luxury villas in Dubai.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods, and Dubai building regulations.
- Experience coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Ability to independently lead technical documentation from approved design through IFC delivery.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
- Previous experience leading architectural drafting teams.
Important: This is a technical architectural documentation role, not an interior design, concept architecture, or 3D visualization position.
