Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Role Description The Senior Warehouse Supervisor is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products supporting Desk Expansion’s projects. Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Senior Warehouse Supervisor manages inventory accuracy, coordinates shipping and receiving activities, and maintains organized and efficient material handling processes. This role also collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and continuously improve warehouse procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated supervisory skills, including team leadership, workload planning, and performance oversight.
• Practical experience with shipping & receiving and inventory control processes to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Hands-on material handling expertise, including safe movement, storage, and staging of goods.
• Proficiency in forklift operation and use of other warehouse equipment, following safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Dubai, communicating clearly with on-site and remote stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead warehouse role; vocational training or certification in logistics or supply chain is an advantage.
