Safety Officer

Education High school certificate or diploma; a relevant HSE qualification is preferred or required by the employer

Safety certification NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or an equivalent safety qualification, depending on the position

Experience Freshers may qualify for junior roles; 1–3 years of construction-site experience is commonly preferred

Site safety knowledge PPE, work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, excavation and electrical safety

Risk assessment Hazard identification, risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) knowledge

Emergency response Fire safety, first aid awareness and emergency evacuation procedures

Documentation Toolbox talks, inspection checklists, incident reports and safety records

Communication Good English communication; additional languages are useful for communicating with workers

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
