Foreman – Utility

Overview:

Directly leads field crews in the hands-on installation, jointing, testing, and backfilling of underground wet and dry utility networks within road right-of-ways.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead trench excavation, bedding, pipe laying (HDPE, UPVC, GRP, Ductile Iron, Concrete), and backfilling.

Supervise dry utility duct laying, handhole/manhole placement, and street lighting prep.

Assist engineers with pipe pressure (hydrostatic/pneumatic) and gravity leak testing.

Enforce crew safety regarding trench shoring, pipe lifting, and confined spaces.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Utility Foreman in civil infrastructure.

Building MEP or indoor plumbing/electrical experience is strictly excluded.

Practical knowledge of pipe jointing, backfill compaction, trench safety, and utility alignments.

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
