Painter

Palm Living Interiors are hiring skilled and experienced Painters to join our interior design and fit-out team. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience in interior painting, surface preparation, decorative finishes, and high-quality finishing works for residential, commercial, hospitality, and retail projects.

The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering professional paint finishes in accordance with approved samples, project specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out interior painting works for residential, commercial, office, retail, and hospitality fit-out projects.
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, scraping, patching, and applying primers as required.
• Apply emulsion paint, enamel paint, varnish, lacquer, and other specified coating materials.
• Perform putty application, wall smoothing, and surface finishing to achieve a clean and even finish.
• Execute decorative painting, texture finishes, feature walls, and special paint effects where required.
• Carry out painting and finishing works on walls, ceilings, doors, wooden panels, furniture, and other interior elements.
• Follow approved color samples, paint specifications, and finishing schedules.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship with smooth surfaces, consistent colors, and clean edges.
• Coordinate with carpenters, gypsum workers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Protect furniture, flooring, fixtures, and finished surfaces during painting activities.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and report any material or quality issues to the supervisor.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a painter in interior design, fit-out, or construction companies.
• Good knowledge of interior painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing materials.
• Experience with putty, primers, emulsion paints, enamel paints, varnishes, and decorative finishes.
• Ability to achieve high-quality finishes in accordance with project requirements.
• Good understanding of color matching and paint application methods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work at factory locations and project sites as required.

Preferred Experience

• Furniture painting, wood finishing, spray painting, and decorative wall finishes.
• Experience working with premium paint brands and specialized finishing products.
