QA/QC Engineer
Hydrotech Line Contracting and Water DistributionPotable Water, Recycled Water & Civil Infrastructure Projects | UAE
We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team for water infrastructure and civil construction projects in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement project QA/QC plans and ensure compliance with approved specifications and UAE authority requirements.
- Review ITPs, Method Statements, material submittals, and quality procedures.
- Inspect potable water and recycled water pipeline installations, including DI and HDPE pipes.
- Monitor excavation, pipe laying, jointing, valve chambers, backfilling, compaction, concrete works, and road reinstatement.
- Coordinate and witness pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing, disinfection, and commissioning.
- Prepare and follow up on IRs, MIRs, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party testing agencies.
- Maintain inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and project handover documents.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in water pipeline and civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in potable water and recycled water networks.
- Experience with TAQA, ETIHAD WE, or similar UAE water utility authority projects is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of UAE authority standards, inspection procedures, pressure testing, disinfection, and commissioning requirements.
- Ability to read construction drawings, manage quality records, and coordinate inspections independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting.
- ISO 9001:2015 awareness or auditor certification is an advantage.
