Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage storekeepers, labourers, and other warehouse workers, and ensure efficient inventory control, material handling, and warehouse organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage labourers, warehouse workers, and storekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Allocate daily duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of building materials.
- Ensure materials are properly arranged, identified, and stored for easy access and safe handling.
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all inventory transactions are updated in the ERP system.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and investigate discrepancies.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities and ensure materials are handled safely.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Accounts, and Logistics teams regarding material requirements and stock movements.
- Prepare and maintain stock reports, delivery records, material issue notes, and other warehouse documents.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the warehouse.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, productivity, and work allocation of warehouse staff.
- Report stock shortages, damaged materials, operational issues, and manpower requirements to management.
- Ensure company policies and warehouse procedures are followed by all staff.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Store In-Charge, Warehouse Supervisor, or in a similar role.
- Experience managing labourers, warehouse workers, and storekeeping staff.
- Good knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and warehouse operations.
- Experience in building materials trading is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage manpower and daily warehouse activities efficiently.
- Physically fit to supervise warehouse operations and material handling activities.
- Male candidates are preferred.
- Knowledge of Malayalam and Hindi will be an added advantage.
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
