Software Test Engineer

RESPONSABILITIES: Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites to ensure robust software quality

Perform manual testing for critical features on new products until automated tests are developed, providing detailed feedback to the development team

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop comprehensive test plans, define testing requirements, and align QA efforts with project goals

Manage regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable and reliable with each release

Identify, document, and track software defects in collaboration with development teams to resolve issues quickly

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid, high-quality releases

Develop and execute performance and load tests to evaluate software stability and responsiveness under various conditions

• Write and maintain test case documentation, test scripts, and test procedures for internal and external use

• QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 03-05 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation

Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) to integrate tests into the deployment pipeline

Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) for backend validation

Proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium)

Basic understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases to perform backend data verification

Knowledge of DevOps practices and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
