Laundry Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations
• Manage the receiving, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, folding, and distribution of linen and uniforms
• Ensure all laundry items are processed according to hotel quality standards
• Monitor linen and uniform inventory and maintain accurate records
• Ensure proper handling and storage of clean and soiled linen
• Supervise and allocate duties to laundry team members
• Monitor the performance, attendance, and productivity of the laundry team
• Ensure laundry equipment is operated safely and report maintenance issues promptly
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the laundry area
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments regarding linen and uniform requirements
• Monitor laundry supplies and assist with stock control
• Train and guide team members on proper laundry procedures and safety standards
• Prepare daily reports and communicate operational issues to management
• Ensure efficient use of water, chemicals, equipment, and other laundry resources

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Laundry Supervisor in a hotel or hospitality environment
• Good knowledge of laundry operations, linen, uniforms, and laundry equipment
• Strong team supervision and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and hygiene standards
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred

Pay: AED0.10 per month
