SERH Group is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, financial controls, compliance, and performance monitoring. The successful candidate will support sound financial decision-making and ensure effective financial governance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, expenditure, and cost control.
• Establish and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS requirements and UAE tax regulations, including VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Analyse financial performance, identify risks, and recommend cost optimisation measures.
• Monitor project and business-unit financial performance, profitability, and budget utilisation.
• Oversee accounting operations, reconciliations, and the accuracy of financial records.
• Lead and develop the finance team and collaborate with senior management and department heads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred.
• At least 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including financial control or a similar senior role.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and internal controls.
• Good understanding of IFRS and UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience in oil and gas, contracting, construction, or project-based businesses is an advantage.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and financial analysis.
• Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
