About the Role:
We are a growing healthcare organization looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to support our finance operations, reporting, and budgeting. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and management to keep our financial records accurate, timely, and compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager in overseeing day-to-day accounting and finance operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare management reports, MIS, and variance analysis using advanced Excel
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor revenue, costs, and insurance claims and receivables
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and audit requirements
- Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
- Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
- Support cost control and profitability analysis across departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (any one required): ACCA, CMA, CPA, CIMA, or CA
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitals, clinics, or medical services
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and report building
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Good knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
